The idea for this blog came around in August 2009 when I (Chrissy) realized that I still owned the domain J-Padalecki.com. I had purchased the domain in 2006 with the intention of opening a fansite for Jared Padalecki. However, I was working full-time on third shift that year and had no free whatsoever really. So it ended up sitting there, unused.

In early August, I came up with the idea of opening a Supernatural fan blog on J-Padalecki.com dedicated to sharing news on the show and its actors (both past and present), having discussion on episodes and just basically talking about SPN in general. After some talks with friends, and recruiting some excellent Supernatural fans off my f-list on Livejournal, we opened in early September 2009, just in time for Season Five. We here at No Rest for the Wicked try our best to be spoiler free by placing all photos, episode information, and anything else spoiler-y under a ‘Read More’ cut. However, we are probably bound to slip up every now and then, so please don’t shoot us.
