• How does approval work for a guarantee acceptance plan?

  When you apply for a ������ýMV Insurance plan that offers guaranteed acceptance, your application will be approved as soon as we receive your initial premium payment.

• How does approval work for a plan that requires a health questionnaire?

  When you apply for a plan that requires completion of the health questionnaire, you’re applying for a medically underwritten plan. We’ll review and evaluate your answers to these medical questions.
  
  If you’re not taking medications on an ongoing basis and you don’t have pre-existing medical conditions, you could receive your approval note in a few days or possibly in just a few minutes.
  
  If you take prescription medications or have medical conditions, we’ll send you a counter-offer that excludes drug coverage for the medications you take and those approved by Health Canada to prevent or treat your conditions.
  
  We’ll also give you alternative plan options to consider. We will send this to you by email within about 10 days. When you decide on the option that’s right for you, just let us know.  We’ll send you an email confirming your selection and your effective date.

  Submit claims online, check your benefit balance, sign-up for direct deposit (your claims reimbursements will be deposited directly into your account), check your claims status, locate ������ýMV-approved registered specialists, therapists, dentists and vision care providers in your area, and much more. • What does the ������ýMV+ mobile app enable me to do?

  You’ll want to be able to access your benefits from wherever you are. Download the mobile app, and you’ll stay connected on your smart phone. Submit claims through the app, check claims status, and find ������ýMV-approved health care providers in your area. What could be more efficient and convenient?

• What is ������ýMV Telemedicine and how do I register?

  All ������ýMV Insurance plans include four virtual visits per family every year with a Canadian-licensed general healthcare practitioner. These virtual visits are available 24/7, 365 days a year. The average wait time is just a few minutes, and you can be in the comfort of home. During your virtual consultation, you’ll receive diagnoses, prescriptions, medical notes, and lab requisitions, as necessary.
If you decide to use more than four virtual visits during the year, you’ll receive ������ýMV preferred pricing.
